The Latronics® Turbine Controller utilizes the latest in micro-controller design to deliver a stable and safe supply of power to the grid connect inverter. Designed specifically to integrate with the Latronics PV Edge inverter, it allows battery-less grid connection of wind and water turbines.

System Designs

The Turbine Controller is connected directly to the PV Edge inverter, while the input is connected to the turbines output. The Turbine Controller will control and stabilize the turbines output to make it suitable for grid feed. The controller has an in built electronic smart brake feature, which is designed to progressively brake the turbine if any over-spin condition is detected. This is designed to extend bearing life and prevent any damage to both the PV Edge and the turbine during extreme conditions.
